To me more specific, what I need to find out is:

1. A reference to make a cable from my computer LPT port to the rig that
will allow me to send CW from my computer's keyboard.

2. Any reference to writelog supporting an external keyer which I may use
from time to time for both CW and ssb, specifically, the Super Combo Keyer
made by ZS4TX distributed by ArraySolutions.

My computer is a Compaq Presario laptop and the rig is an Icom 756. If
anyone has a similar set up, please email me your ph# or email address- I'm
not trying to avoid reading the manuals, but more or less trying to get the
system set up from someone who has already figured out the bugs- A phone
call could save me a few hundred of hours on the learning curve, hi. Any
reference to a supporting website that can answer these questions speficially
would also be appreciated-
