Today was the very first day that I fully realized the importance of
upgrading to XP.
After I was able to get MMulty to work properly with Writelog I managed to
really screw up Writelog.
It would not load fully, I would get a message that an error occurred in the
Writelog MFC application.
That stall out.
No amount of uninstalling/reinstalling would correct the problem.

BUT, BIG BUT
XP has a Restore feature. It will restore your computer, without loosing any
data files, to the state it was in on a previous date.
So I just went to the Restore option and selected yesterday.
as they say on the cluster
BINGO!
Not only did Writelog load fully, but it even remember the port settings and
MMulty was still working.

For any of you who don't believe in "If it ain't broke..don't fix it" and
manage to screw things up...
XP is for you.
It saved me from doing a major reinstall.
