Hi Larry,

You're doing just fine. I had thought that an [ENTRY] section was there by
default, but it may be just that you hadn't done an initial contest save
yet. In any case, adding it is no problem.

On the Band Map size, mine says 15 in my .ini file, but I don't know what
the original was. In the web site, I wanted to let you see what 15 looks
like and what 25 looks like. It's hard to tell pixel size unless you see a
picture, so that's why I did it. But changing the 15 to any value you want
is just fine.

Have fun!

  I am configuring WriteLog for the first time and following the K9JY
  help sections on the web site.

  In following the instructions for example:
   (snip)
  To set up calls to go into the Band Map automatically by pressing the
space bar, add this line to the [Entry] section of the WriteLog.ini file:
  MapCallOnSpace=1

  I don't know about your ini, but mine didn't have a [Entry] sectionso I
put one in.

  Also: (snip again)
  To change the vertical size of the Band Map, go to the [Band Map] section
of the WriteLog.ini file and change the number to the right of this option:
  PixelsPerKhz=15

  The [Band Map] section was there but the instructions seem to indicate
  that the PixelsPerKhz=15 was already there.

  There are more of these "assumptions" and I'm sure he meant to add the
  commands...........................or maybe Not?
