When the installer won't work and the contest selection box is empty, this
is an indication that something is seriously wrong with the Windows
installation. I recommend you get your Windows 95/98 CD out and run the
SETUP.EXE on it. That usually fixes things.

If you are running Windows 95, consider buying the Windows 98 upgrade CD--it
will fix lots of things like you're having.

Another possibility is that Internet Explorer installs come with a huge part
of the Windows system functionality on them, and you can download and
install them for free. Look at
