[WriteLog] LCD Monitors (OT)

The best price I've seen for an LCD monitor is $649 at my local
RadioShack.com store (probably the same on their web site, too).

Before putting a dedicated PC in the shack this summer, I had
been using my Compaq laptop with a 15" screen -- bright, crisp and 
really easy to see when contest fatigue sets in.  Unfortunately,
the prices for a stand-alone LCD monitor are not low enough yet,
so I bought a $179 17" CRT monitor instead.  I'll put the extra $$$
into the antenna system!
