[WriteLog] WriteLog & LPT1 Keyer

Hi Agn, I've had several requests abt the solution to the
W1WEF LPT1 keyer not keying my Icom 746.

Sorry I didn't post the solution ........only a Thank You.
Didn't want to bore anyone or take up more space here.

The W1WEF works fine just as one would expect.

I'd plugged the cable from the LPT1 keyer to the Front
Elect-Key jack on the 746.
It didn't work.............see my other posts.

I'd forgotten abt the 1/4 key jack on the rear of the rig .......hadn't
looked at the rear of the 746 in some time......no  excuse.

Yes RTFM

I then (following advise from this reflector) plugged into the
rear jack on the 746.............WOW it worked.

So all is well thanks to you folks.
