Thanks for the temp fix Dez, I might have to revert to TR ditto.

I found it's actually worse than I reported, because even if you put the 
full 5 character code in, then the window tabs back to the call , even if 
that option is unchecked in set up. That means that if you're in " Enter 
sends exch" etc, then instead os the Q being logged, the entire exchange 
is sent over again. To avoid this I have to use + to log the Q, very 
unintuitive for me!

Thus it's clear that this is a nassssty bug, and I respectfully request 
urgent rectification. It's pretty clear that this won't happen before IOTA 
this year, so looks like it's TR for me and SD for Dez; how sad
