John,
We have had conversations about remote log/rig control thru the LAN using
Linksys wireless....
and I said I would keep you current about my trials.......
I ran across aWEB site that used MS network to control a remote base.....
So I tried linking direct thru the LAN and it worked well...Video, audio
next was the "file sharing" option...so I shared Logic5 and was able to
control the rig from a remote computer  ( very cool and saved the $ on
Laplink)
The audio quality is so so and there is a bit of a delay..........but it has
real possibilities.....
Off now to try W/L.........
