[WriteLog] Another dumb question

Bear with me here guys, and if the answer is obvious,
write it off to my advanced age, but......

Is there a way in setup to "train" Writelog to accept only
valid entries, for example in SweepStakes, to allow the
prec field to only contain A, B, M, S, and Q?
