I got several messages so let me explain.   Earthlink (at least as
mindspring) does not support NT.  This is in the software running on your
PC.  Earthlink plans on support for NT maybe next spring.  I cannot move
my software to NT (or Windows 2000) as they don't support installing it.

The options available in mindspring 4.0 or mindspring under ver 5 and 6
of earthlink
are W3.1 and W 9X.  There is Mac support.   I suspect that there are
other ISPs that don't have NT software too.
