[WriteLog] SO2R Questions

Potential SO2R newbie would appreciate assistance (and patience) with the 
following questions:

Is the W5XD the switchbox of choice for Writelog CW use?  Any comments on 
the W5XD vs. Top Ten or WX0B boxes appreciated.

Is there any way to continually steer the Packet Spot grabbing to a 
designated S&P radio, without having to manually change keyboard focus off 
the run radio?
