[WriteLog] Direct I/O Ordering Problem

I have nothing but kudos for the DirectIO folks.  Their support was
lightning fast and the purchase was easy and fast.  Their confirmation
message uses a somewhat ambiguous Subject: line.  It's possible to miss it
and maybe even delete it fearing it's just spam.
