[WriteLog] Logging simulator help

Is there a help file for the logging simulator program/utility? I've
downloaded and installed the WL10.31C and the wlsim and installed both. When
I execute the programs I get no errors but at this point I don't know what I
should see or expect from the simulator. I went back into the archives and
read the discussions on the simulator and several indicated that theirs is
operating just fine....how would you know? I guess it's just not intuitive
to me.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks................John
