Hello Ulli and the gang,

Well, having read your email, I thought I should go and set up SCC, rather
than wait until the last minute, and then test the problem.

I am using v10.34b.

I went and set most of the buffers that I normally use (F3, with the %C, but
I have %R before that, to send a new line), and then had a play.

I put a callsign in the field, added a 4 digit year, then hit the + key on
the numeric keypad, and out went -
PA5AT TNX ULLI TU
NOW QRZ? DE GU0SUP K

as is programmed into the F3 buffer (in my case).

Just in case I had it wrong, (I saw that Ulli said he "called up the SCC
module), I shut Writelog down (having done a SAVE AS) and then re-opened it,
and tried again.
That still works OK for me.

However, I started wondering if entering the callsign and year manually is
somehow getting round the problem?
Unless I can click on a callsign, and then a valid 4 digit year number, and
see where the cursor goes, I am not sure I don't have the problem!

To try it out, I have (literally) just been on 17m RTTY with Dez ZC4DW, and
got him to send me a year, and then I hit the + key to send the TU QRZ? bit,
and it worked fine.

So, is there a problem, or not? I can't see that a newer version of WL would
affect the SM6SRW module, and I am still using the same SM6SRW module that I
got back in February when I got WL.

Anyone got any bright ideas??
