Maybe I spoke with "foot in mouth" in my last post. I got to thinking,
(finally), the abbreviations in the Multipliers Menu can be changed by going
to the WriteLog folder and editing the "namedmul.ini" file. You have to
search through the various contests to find the one you want. I went to the
"ss" list and found ORE=7 and changed it to OR=7 and when I called up a
Sweeps test, the Mult Menu said OR under the 7 call column. Just to be sure,
I entered an exchange with a 7 call and entered OR for the section, and WL
entered it as OR and gave me a mult. I assume you could do that with the
other inconsistencies you mentioned.
I assume Wayne did it that way just to cover the ever changing world of mult
abbreviations!
