It worked for me.  Be sure you have it spelled correctly...
Here's what mine looks like:

CtCompatibleAccel=YES

I don't know if it is case sensitive or not, but you might try copying
the above and pasting it.  If it works here, it should work there.

And be sure it's under the [Configuration] section, of course.
