First, thanks for all the replys!
Steve, right now 32 meg of ram in this pc, but I'm pretty
sure there is more around the shack somewhere that=20
will work.
Sounds like for the use I have now, WriteLog would work
well. My internet computer is a 600 mhz Athlon with 384
meg of ram, so it's plenty of pc, but so far, I have kept
seperate pc's for internet use and logging. Especially=20
since the other contest logging programs I'm currently
using run best in pure Dos mode. The internet pc here
is running XP Pro, so I guess I would need that one
utility to use lpt keying. Although I do have another
interface for serial keying also. Only one comport on=20
this pc, but I do have a PCI ByteRunner card I'll bet I
could stick in here also.
Tax refund check should make it before long, so think I
will purchase WriteLog and see how I like it. I may=20
see if the local radio club will purchase it also, as we
now have P 133's there that could be networked via=20
ethernet. We finally computer logged for FD last year,
but not networked. So, we had dupes we really shouldn't
have had.=20
