You have the rigblaster configured properly. The way to make it work is =
to put the rigblaster in auto and put your microphone input to the =
soundcard mic input. If you use a heil headset this is easy. You will =
need to adjust the audio properties of the mic on your soundcard mixer =
to get the desired audio. With this set up, you will be able to play =
your recordings ala dvk and have vox. Your other alternative with the =
rigblaster is to put it on auto so that your dvk will work and then use =
a ptt switch. In my case it was a heil with a foot switch. Good luck =
and cu in the test

Subject: [WriteLog] RigBlaster setup help
I have a RigBlaster interfaced to an FT-1000MP Mark-V. I want to use =
it in the NAQP SSB this weekend. I want to be able to set up the =
RigBlaster in AUTO and be able to key the radio with the software or =
with the radio's VOX. As it is now I have to switch the RigBlaster to =
VOX to key the radio with the radio's VOX or switch the RigBlaster to =
AUTO to key the radio with the PC. Is this a limitation of the =
RigBlaster or do I have the RigBlaster configured incorrectly? The PC =
keys the radio with the RigBlaster in AUTO but the radio doesn't see any =
audio from the sound card.
My set up.
WriteLog, CW PTT on LPT/COMM pin 16
FT-1000MP MARK-V
RigBlaster RS-232 cable to the PC
Heil headset plugged into the RigBlaster
RigBlaster mike cable plugged into the =
radio
stereo cable from the pc's sound card =
speaker out to the RigBlaster IN jack
Thanks for the help?
Ed/W5TM
