The ARRL is a business and they are trying to cut costs.  I applaud their
efforts, it benefits all of us.

My call has appeared many times in the microscopic print, most recently as
the "winner" of my section in the 160 contest (because I was the only
entrant, with 54 Q's)
I don't think the expense of printing that information it is a good use of
my dues.

To those who want to "whine and take their ball home" I say, "Don't let the
door hit you on the backside".
