I can't argue with any of that.  However, ISA is going, going.... and with
it goes RITTY.  If someone is buying NEW, I would advise the Soundblaster 16
PCI for $30 and its use with MMTTY.  In fact, get 2!  I really, really liked
RITTY, but as fast as things change in this area, I can't see deliberatly
purchasing a computer with an ISA slot or an operating system with DOS.
Especially not with the availability of MMTTY and Soundblaster PCI cards.
Whatever - have fun, it would be boring if we all had the same stuff!
