It is likely that the issue is not your ISP, but rather that the disconnect
is coming from the Telnet cluster to you. Telnet clusters usually have a
non-activity auto-disconnect to terminate connections that have failed or
left without logging off. This cleans out the user list and avoids
saturating the telnet server with dead connections. The key to staying
connected is for the program that has established the Telnet connection
(i.e. Writelog) to send a <CR> or something every 30 min or so to assure the
cluster that the connection is still active. Just sending something up the
line (like checking e-mail) won't do it, as AR-Cluster won't recognize
anything not addressed to it.
