[WriteLog] New user setup

I am contemplating downloading Writelog.  I have been using CT for a couple of years with my Yaesu FT-920.

Will my existing CT parallel port keyer device still work?  It has an isolation transistor in the keying circuit as per CT instructions.

Does Writelog connect via the serial port like CT?
