[WriteLog] re: TS440S and WL

After using WL for a couple of contests, I decided to interface the old
TS-440S to WL using a Hosenose cable and chips.  After properly installing
the chips and cable and setting WL, WL still does not interact with the rig.
I have ports 1 and 2 on the 600 mhz P3 computer.  New to WL and this group,
I wonder if someone could help me with what I am sure must be an elementary
problem.  Thanks.
