Subject: [WriteLog] New WriteLog RTTY Starter Tutorial

I was going to wait until this was finished, but I see some topics come
over the reflector and some direct E-mails to me that could be
answered by some of the information I've assembled in a new tutorial
called "WriteLog RTTY Starter".

It's a tutorial for the beginner RTTY op or experienced RTTY op just
starting to use WriteLog for RTTY contesting.

Presently I have eight pages completed with some side links. One of the
side links is how to test your sound board using the Sound Board Check
program available from the WriteLog website.

To access the tutorial, go to my main WriteLog website at:

http://www.geocities.com/writelog

and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. On the left hand side
there
is a link to the tutorial. Remember, it's still under heavy construction.
I would
ask that if anyone sees any misspelled words or improper grammar that they
bring it to my attention along with anything else that does not appear to be
correct.
Some pages may not display correctly on browsers other than Internet
Explorer.
IE is highly recommended for viewing these pages.

I don't know how in-depth I will go. I don't want to overwhelm the
newcomers,
but I certainly want them to know the intimate workings of RTTY with
WriteLog.
As most of you know, WriteLog can be simple or it can be complex depending
on what you want to do with the program. I anticipate this project will
take a few
more weeks to complete but wanted everyone to have access to what I've
accumulated so far.

The NAQP RTTY contest is this weekend. Now is the time to get ready!

Direct comments appreciated. We don't need to clutter the reflector with
replies to this.

73, Don AA5AU
RTTY FOREVER!
