You can use the Microsoft Sound Recorder.   You can go to the beginning of
the QSO and delete the audio before the current position.  Then go to the
end of the QSO and delete everything after the current position.  This
method is fine if you only have a few files that you wish to make.

short snippets from my sound files (just 1 qso or so, to send the other
guy).
