[WriteLog] beam headings for rotor

Can anyone please tell me where to set the information so the beam headings come out correctly?  I went into the Great Circle map and set my lat and long.  But beam headings keeps telling me Japan is 123 degrees from WA.  I don't think so.  Also is there an easier way to turn the rotor without clicking on tools and the clicking on azimuth to dx or whatever it is?
