[WriteLog] Field Day laptop rf problem

Dell laptop.  Rig would not key cleanly from computer at full power.  Lowering power half-way or so and keying ok.  Had both 40m and 15 m antennas on Yaesu FT-920 and didn't make any difference removing one or the other.  Also shielded the parallel port keying line and that didn't make any difference.  Removed ac power source and ran on batteries.  Still same problem.  Using serial to serial ports on computer and rig.  Keying would be "mushy."  Some of the characters would slur or jumble while rig at full power (100 wts)

P.S. Had to key entire Field Day using rig and my paddle.  Interesting experience, especially after 24 hours!!

Is rf getting into the laptop directly?  

Any clues?
