Hey Dennis, the new guy...hi.

You will find the "Convert CTY to Writelog" program by going to START, 
PROGRAMS , WRITELOG v10.  There you will find a listing of 10 program 
modules.  "Convert CTY to Writelog" is one of them.  

When you run the "Convert CTY to Writelog" program it looks into the 
/ham/programs/ directory to find the wl_cty.dat file.  It then "converts" the 
country data for use by WriteLog.  

The most current version of the wl_cty.dat file can always be found at <A HREF="http://www.k1ea.com/cty/index.htm">
http://www.k1ea.com/cty/index.htm</A>.  AD1C who maintains the the country files 
posts a notice on the CQ-Contest reflector each time he updates them.  I make 
a point of downloading and "converting" the latest before each contest.  [You 
may want to join the CQ-Contest reflector if you are not already a member.]
