Duh. The answer is right in the Help file: yes.
I am going to crawl into a hole now and quietly die from embarrassment.

Subject: voice messages
I know there is a procedure to use pre-recorded phonetics and numbers to sound out calls, serial numbers, etc in voice contests.
The pre-recorded phonetics must be in wave files named A.wav, B.wav, etc.
Has anyone experimented to see if WriteLog can recognized the existence of pre-recorded multiple character sequences; e.g., using
a file named 100.wav which contains a recording of "one hundred", or K3.wav to sound out "kay three"?
(Yes, I know CT does this with its custom DVP card. I just don't know how far the WL implementation goes...)
Thanks.
