[WriteLog] Computer Speech Result

Glad that it worked out so well Jon.

In addition to the real (me) voice, I went to the ATT Natural voice page and did the same exercise with a
computer voice. I figure that it is good if a multi did not want to record a real voice for each operator.
Also sounds good.

After some practice with Goldwave, I found that I could clip out all the characters, number and complete
phrases for an operator in about 45 minutes.

Don't forget to add the <slash.wav> character in case the station is a portable. (The file must be called
'slash' NOT 'stroke', I believe.)

(see you in Sweepstakes, operating as NG2P, multi)

| Hi Rick and all,
|
| After following this thread with interest, I downloaded the Goldwave
| shareware demo in its new version 5.06 last night, and did some recording
| from my Heil GM-4 in both of its positions for comparison. Using the TX
| Monitor output from a Kenwood TS-2K to drive a Creative Live 512 card.
|
| Very nice playback results via WriteLog. Sure appreciate the tip, and I'll
| be registering Goldwave soon. Excellent software for many purposes.
