[WriteLog] [Fwd: Keyboard remapping]

If you have been looking for a simple keyboard remapper for Win 2000 or
XP, check this out. It requires a reboot to take effect and it applies
to all programs while in effect, so you probably won't want to run it
when outside a contest. But it worked as advertised and couldn't be much
simpler. I intend to limit my use to semicolon, apostrophe and the
brackets. These are enough to achieve the goal of reduced hand movement
off the home row without screwing up casual use of email and Web while
in effect.

...you asked if Writelog supported keyboard remapping.

While Writelog does not have built-in key remapping, your comment spurred me
to look for a 3rd party solution and I found an excellent one - it's called
KeyTweak and it works great with my Windows 2000 notebook. I took your
advice and set up the semi-colon and comma keys for exchange and TU/QRZ
messages. Works slick! Wish I would have had it last weekend.

KeyTweak is FREEWare, works under Windows 2000 and Windows XP, and is
available for download from:

Thanks for the suggestion.
