[WriteLog] WL Failures

Thanks to all, and there were many more who didn't post on the reflector,
who assisted here.  We now seem to have it working. There was an imbedded
line in the INI files that seemed incomplete. Once deleted, all seems well.
We'll be far more careful in the future about how we populate logs, how we
edit INI files and so forth ;-)

A few shutdown/restarts from now I'm sure we'll be feeling confident.

I appreciate all the help. It's been incredible!
