[WriteLog] Writelog problems solved

I am not sure that this was the real problem but nevertheless I have no
issues now. The OLE issue disappeared when I replaced a hard drive that was
showing corruption. I restored my image backup and all is well. Now to get
things set up :-)

Thanks to all that listed and tried to help , it was appreciated even if it
did not at times appear to be.
