I am very new to Write Log and this years CQWW was my first time to try the sound card DVK. All I did was record my messages useing the windows sound recrder with my Heil Headset now I used the the Line Input Jack. Set the format according to the info obtained on the webb site. Then save them under the msg1.wav etc file names. Told write log where to find them.

After getting my playback levels set using the wtitelog soundcard setup program. I had absolutely no trouble using the sound card during the contest. I ran a jumper from the speaker jack to the audio in jack on my FT-920 I did have to use an isolation transformer.

Good luck, as I mentioned I had no trouble at all.
