[WriteLog] Icom IC-761 PTT through radio control?

Can the IC-761 PTT be keyed through radio control?  I've read where
some Icom radios cannot be keyed through radio control, but trying to
assist someone with an IC-761 and WL.  He's not able to key PTT through
radio control.  Will he need an external PTT interface?  Or should PTT
work through radio control?
