Keep in mind that backup programs only work when you RUN THEM!  Does the 
Microsoft Backup support automatic, unattended operation? If you manually 
have to initiate backup, I can almost guarantee that you will have skipped 
the day before you really need to recover something.
This is why I like the Iomega Automatic Backup program. Runs in the 
background, backs up changed files any time I change them.  I never have to 
think about it.  Similarly, my Dantz Retrospect backup runs every night 
while I'm asleep.
