On the other hand, even the British have been using the IARU Region 1 
points-per-kilometre scoring system in VHF/UHF contests for more than 40 
years! DL1EFD's module including that scoring system is available 
through the WL third party downloads page.

As for the world-wide Locator system, let the record show that it was 
invented right here in this village by G4ANB.  There really should be a 
commemorative plaque on the relevant building... namely 'The 
Wheatsheaf'.
