[WriteLog] sound board

Mike,

I had exactly that problem here with a new Creative Labs Soundblaster Live!
5.1 digital.

Solution ?

Ditch the Soundblaster 5.1 and take the card from my old PC (think it was a
Yamaha, circa 1998?), install that and it works a treat!
