[WriteLog] Networking issue

I have a windows 98 network working just fine with writelog.  I have
successfully gotten a windows XP laptop to join the 98 network and use
the writelog application just fine.
My issue is when I try to get win2k to join.  I have the netbuei loaded,
and the win2k machine is seeing the network just fine. When I "link to
network" I immediately get a lost connection in the network status.
Any help?
