[WriteLog] Single key bandmap add

Regarding adding calls to the bandmap with a single key
stroke question: 

I have an F key programmed (I use F8) for this. In the
"Setup CW/RTTY/SSB messages..." area just add "%B" (without
the quotes) and a single F8 key press will add the call
window contents to the map. Additionally, since I have CT
Compatibility enabled "F11" clears everything in the edit
window.

1) Is there a better way to add a call to the band map with
a single 
keystroke.   I found myself right clicking the entry window
to do this.  
Then I'd have to do an Alt-W to clear the entry.   This got
old real quick.  
  Is there a single keystroke for this?   I didn't see it in
the docs.
