[WriteLog] Duplicate Serial Numbers in CQP

Thanks Brian, and the others who replied. Apparently it is covered in
the archives, and also is not a problem - all that is important that the
other station copied it correctly - not WHAT the number actually is.
Duplicate QSO's is the issue - NOT duplicate QSO NUMBERS.

Hello Don

We also had problems with some duplicate serial numbers being issued in
a 2 station network at ZL6QH
for the Oceania DX Phone contest last weekend. We were running WL 10.47
and 10.48. The OS was Win
98.

Last weekend in CQP I was running two stations networked for the first
time. Both were running XPpro (actually - identical machines with the
exception of hard-drive size). In addition to losing the connection a
few times (and only cured by rebooting both machines), WL issued the
same contact numbers to both stations when the rates got up. About 60
Q's were affected. NCCC will accept the log - but it was bothersome to
say the least. Anyone else see this? Any ideas on how to stop this?
Perhaps I missed something in the network set-up.
