Hi all,
I am still trying to get my writelog program to work on
my ft 920's on rtty. I am getting error windows coming up
when I choose TU as anything but stereo fsk The error
window states the following:
"RttyRite MFC application has encountered a problem and needs to close."
It gives me 2 icons to choose from to "send" this report to Microsoft or
just "dont send." What is causing this? I just loaded the newest version
of Writelog. It is from a disk, not an upgrade off of the website. I
just upgraded my computer with a new motherboard and formatted the
harddrive so as to start out fresh with a new system. I am running
WinXP. Any ideas? Thanks-Bob-WT9Q

I've read the help files and tried various changes but I've never been
able to get the
cursor to move to the correct logging field AND STAY THERE.
I usually just do S&P so I click on a callsign & call him, he comes back
to me with a
report, the cursor has jumped to the 599 field in the logging window.
When I send my report, the cursor now jumps to the Country window.
What parameter should be set so the cursor goes to the field that REALLY
needs to be
entered?
In JARTS, it's the AGE field, I don't need the cursor in the 599 (rarely
do you get a
different rst)
and I don't need the cursor in the Country field, WL already entered
that.
And if the station asks for a repeat...then the cursors jumps somewhere
else but not to
the one field I need it to go to for easy entry.
I know I have something set wrong but have not been able to find it.

I am preparing for the upcoming contest season and all four of
the station computers have been upgraded and tested using 10.49D. I now
see a later version of Writelog 10.50. I am not sure of what has been
upgraded in 10.50 and I trying to determine if I need to upgrade again.
I plan to run the at least for the next 2-3 month with 10.49D operating
SSB, CW and RTTY contests.
If the 10.49D software has some big bug in any of these three modes
please let me know, if not I just go with 10.49D.
Thanks Bill W4RM
