[WriteLog] Writelog Networking

I am trying to connect two laptops together for CQWW SSB. One is running Win XP SP2 and the other Win 98 SP2. We are able to share files across the laptops, but unable to get Writelog to link. The XP laptop gives me an okay with the link, while the Win 98 laptop gives me an error. I am using Writelog version 10.48F on both Computers.  We have already tried all of the instructions on the Writelog website.

Any suggestions on how to resolve?
