[WriteLog] The TS-950SD & WL problems.

First of all, be sure that VFO A is selected on the radio. You will
notice that split will set both VFO's, but will not switch the rig to
split mode. That is a difference between the radio protocol of
different model Kenwood's and WriteLog does not make a distinction.

Second, I have never gotten PTT through an opto-isolator to work
properly with ANY Kenwood. I always use the command radio on radio comm
port setting.

Subject: [WriteLog] The TS-950SD & WL problems.

I have trcvr Kenwood TS950SDigital S/N 0120097. The
problems appears during controling the trcvr through
interface IF232C.In my experiments I used the
different PC's (Celeron 300MHz and P4 2.24Ghz)and
different OS (Win98 and Win2000Proffesional).
WL PORTs window settings were COM1-Kenwood (in other
case Kenwood TS850),4800 boud .

WriteLog reads the trcvr's frequency and shows it in
the FREQ window. At this stage all passes orderly,
but...

The TS-950SD does't control by WL if switch the bands
(AltF1, AltF2),Modes does't change (CtrlF1 CtrlF2),
TS950 does't change it's freq if I enter it directly
into QSO Entry window or by means of GrabSpot.
Also I had NO a PTT keying on comm port. Keying on LPT
port is working OK.
I know that this problem was already discussed here
and
I searched archives, but unfortunately did not find
helpful information.
Any ideas?!

P.S. I had tested TS950SD +IF232C with LOGGER (W98 OC)
and K1EA(CT)in DOS mode , all works fine.
