[WriteLog] Recording a new message on-the-fly

I agree with Chris, why would one need 20 pre-recorded messages? It seems
that no one has discovered how to record messages now. I used the record on
the fly at TI5N in WPX SSB in March and it was quite easy to change the CQ
msg when I needed to go to a different 40m split freq. Fortunately I've not
downloaded the latest version and hopefully it still works. I wonder if
there is a way people can go back to an earlier version of WL that has this
feature intact?

Thanks to the guys who have kindly responded but I still haven't found out
what has taken the place of Shift-Fkey to record messages.

What I can't understand is why take out a facility which benefits the many
and replace it with something that can only benefit the few. I cannot begin
to understand why I would need 20 pre-recorded SSB messages. If that were
case I would begin to think about packing up contesting.
