[WriteLog] Networking and dups in log

Hi Phil,

Great job on Sable Island!!!

I can only answer one section of the question, which is that if it were a
contest, the dupes would be marked in the log, and you would not be
penalised.

Personally, I think you should just leave the dupes - what if I work you on
20m at 0100z, but wasn't sure I made it into the log, I then work you two
days later at 2200z on 20m.. I figure I'll use the second contact which I
was sure got into your logs, you on the other hand take out that second QSO
on 20m as a dupe... Can you really QSL my report, which is technically not
in your log???

This could be even more complicated if (I'm 8P6SH) and you worked say 8P6FH
soon after me the second time around at say 2204z, 25 QSO's further down the
log. When you receive my QSL card, and it shows up as not in log... and then
you run into 8P6FH.... you may even be tempted to believe that you did work
8P6SH at the time on my card....

I think you should just leave the logs as they are, dupes and all.

I'm not so sure I have a solution to the rest of your query.

Again congrats on a nice operation on Sable Is.

Best regards,

Dean
