Hi Stan,
I don't remember, but that was easy - check instructions either on WL page or Userport
manual (text file).
I finally gave up and installed Win98 as second operation system
on my computer just for HAM activities. No any problems with antenna selection,
keying on LPT, even with networking since then - now thanks to Wayne for including TCP/IP
networking feature - that was reason for another 30% of mails on reflector, which just dissapear.
I hope that LPT problems will vanish for same reason soon!
I have IBM A31 + Win XP here.
73 and cu in WPX RTTY as LY5A m/m this weekend

I had allso lost the ability to interact with the command prompt (i.e.
DOS programs). How did you uninstall it, just delete the xx.sys file? I
didn't find it in MSCONFIG.

The same there. Plus sum extra side effects - some other programs
stopped to work (command prompt - one of them). Got back to normal after
removing userport.

All,
Well, I joined the ranks of those who tried to use UserPort for
Writelog
access to LPT1 and failed. After getting it to work the first
day, no way
could I get it to work yesterday. The port still seemed to be
available in
Writelog but no antenna relay band data at all.
I have gone back to using the Keyer output ports while I
investigate DirectIO
