[WriteLog] Keyboard PTT for SSB?

When operating a SSB contest, is there a way to activate PTT from the 
keyboard? I tried adding a keyboard shortcut and it looked ok on the 
screen, but nothing happens. I have PTT control via com2 for RTTY with 
Alt-K, but can't figure out how to do the same on SSB.

Is it even possible?
