[WriteLog] extra SSB memories questions

I have always had the same problem here.  The Writelog docs and K9JY's
website indicate that you set up Shifted SSB memories with the appropriate
.wav files.  Then to send you should press Shift Fn for whatever message you
want to send.  However, the docs also say Shift Fn enables the Record on the
Fly feature which records over the .wav files in the normal SSB mesage
buffer.  Something ain't right here folks!!!
