[WriteLog] Network Instability

We're having the same problem with modern Windows XP machines right now in 
CQWW CW.  Have had to restart the machines several times.  We didn't have 
this problem in SSB and the only changes done were the usual Microsoft 
patches. 

Any chance we can get Writelog ported to Linux?
